Weekly blog. 4.29-5.3
Hi bloggers. This week was probably one of the busiest week ever because of banquet. This week was good too though. Friday night was a night to remember.
On thursday and friday, we had to find a homeroom to stay in because on Thursday, it was the 7th graders class day, and on friday, Mr. Ing had a meeting in the morning and they had to go set up for banquet in the afternoon. On thursday morning, i went to Mrs. Chun's class and for period six, i went to Ms. Palmgren's class. It was kind a bad idea to go to Mrs. Palmgren's class for a sub period for period 6 because i had to have her again for period 2.-. But i got to teach the class(x Well, not really teach but be like an assistance. Then for advisory, i also went to Mrs. Chun's class at it was fun. Whoever met their AR goal got to go play outside(: I had fun playing ninja and volleyball with everybody. On friday, we went to Mrs. Chun's class again for homeroom and advisory. As usual, advisory was fun because we got to go out to play again^_____^ I played ninja and volleyball again too(: I'm not that bad at volleyball(x I was in the volleyball team in 6th grade thats why. All my other classes was good too(:
Weekly job- My job this week was ID's with Serena Laila. It was slow on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. But on friday, it was really busy at recess because number 1, there wasn't any morning jobs so, all students who needed an ID had to come in at recess. We came in, and there was a line starting to form. There were a lot of 8th graders because, banquet was tonight on friday and we needed our ID to board the bus. So, the line was just getting longer and longer and we had a problem with the printing machine. It couldn't print anything. So, it took us about 3 minutes to fix it and print the people's ID. It was really hard because i never did experience such a hassle before. Everybody needing an ID and we have so little time. We also had a problem to top that off.
Lesson Learned- Stay on top of things, so things won't be out of hand.
English interview presentation- So, for english, we had to do interviews and present. My partner was jacob fisher. We asked each other 3 personal questions for background information and 7 questions dealing with the topic we chose. The topic he chose was "Kids being able to get a jobs at any age." My topic was, "Schools having Uniforms." Well, something like that. It was fun interviewing each other but the presentation was something i didn't like. I hate presenting. Everybody just stares and stuff. We did good though. Im proud.
Banquet- So, banquet was a long night. It was fun though. One thing i liked about banquet was the food and the place was really nice, so that meant, a lot of pictures. A thing i disliked was when everybody were grinding on each other and just acting wild. Its okay but it was kinda hard to watch. LOLOL. We only had so little time to get ready and i think i looked pretty good. Thanks to my older niece(x It was nice seeing everybody all dressed up. Everybody looked pretty and good too.
