First week (July 2 - July 6)
My first week of leadership turned out pretty good. Mr. Ing told us which period were everyone in.
In my period, there is Errlyn, Khrizz, Serena, Bretman, and Savanah. During the first week, we hadn't really worked with our period as much and that's why we didn't really get as close. I met Errlyn way back when on the first day of school last year but we weren't very close. We would just say hi to each other once in a while. I haven't met Khrizz before even Serenah and Savanah but I am hoping to. I had met Bretman way, way long ago in Elementary. We were very close in 6th grade. We would do the most craziest things together. I'm looking forward to a good year with the people in my period and also the people who aren't.
We also learned how to work with the music we usually play in the morning before school. We also learned how to speak on the mic, like how loud and clear we have to be when talking so everyone could hear and understand. I had to slow down because I was speaking way to fast. I have to remember the pace I have to talk in so when I actually do talk at school I know the exact way I have to talk in and I won't be as nervous and so everyone could hear and understand me.
The ID machine was another thing I had learned which was very easy but can be confusing. There are a lot of buttons you have to remember which is why I say that it can be confusing. I understand what i had to do and it is easy but I do have to take a while to get it done. After going through it a lot of times, I've gotten it and I know just what to do but it kinda takes me a while to get it done but I got it overall.
The hardest thing that I had learned was making the intro. for Ilima TV. There is a lot of steps you have to remember and it can be pressuring because you could forget the steps just like that. When I was in the process of learning it, I got so confused but i was so sure i could remember. But we did have the opportunity to learn it again so I could learn and understand better. This also takes me a long time to get done but i also got it. I just have to practice making it faster.
